We were contacted at the beginning of September by the manager of a busy Bristol restaurant as they were looking to have their wooden floors cleaned. We arranged a convenient time for one of our trained technicians to call out & conduct a short survey to establish the dimensions/condition of the floor as well as discussing the requirements that the customer had. This enabled to us to supply the customer with a quotation & a plan for cleaning. Last week saw a team of our technicians put that cleaning plan into action…
Due to the this venue being a busy city centre restaurant, the floor was heavily soiled with a mixture of footfall, food & drink which had been absorbed into the floor so our team had a real task ahead of them.
Cleaning the floors across the large downstairs restaurant, the stairs & the upstairs staff area & landing, they started by sweeping the floor to remove as much surface debris as possible. Then a wood floor solution is applied to the rotary machine which gently scrubs the floor whilst applying a mixture of the cleaning solution & hot water.
Once the agitation machine has released embedded soiling from the floor, the wet vacs are used to remove the resulting slurry.
The floor is then rinsed to ensure all dirt and debris has been removed, extracted again and drying is accelerated by using air movers.
Special attention is also given to some of the more trickier areas, such as the stairs & edges around heavy furniture that could not be moved. These areas are tackled using scrubbing sticks and cleaning pads.
Another great job completed by our technicians, the floor was looking much cleaner as well as being sanitised for future customers.
