We are very fortunate & appreciative that we are contacted each year by a Bath landlord to carry out carpet cleaning in their rental before the next wave of students move into the property. This meant that two of our technicians had a busy afternoon cleaning the carpets in 5 bedrooms, 2 flights of stairs & the landings.
As you can see from the photos, the carpets have been subjected to heavy footfall & likely have not been vacuumed regularly throughout the tenancy.
After carrying out a walk through of the property to see what was ahead of them, our technicians got to work by using a commercial grade vacuum on the carpets to pick up as much surface soiling as possible.
Any stains that had been noted were then treated & an eco-sanitising pre-spray used to kill any bacteria within the carpets. These solutions were then given sufficient time to dwell.
The rotary agitation machine is the used to gently agitate the carpets. This is where the brushes on the bottom of the weighted machine clean the carpet whilst working in a mixture of hot water & cleaning solutions.
This helps to break down any soiling & loosen it from the bottom of the pile ready to be rinse extracted.
The final part of our cleaning process is the traditional rinse extraction, this large machine extracts all of the remaining soiling, water & cleaning products from the carpets, ensuring a deep clean & leaving the carpets looking rejuvenated for the new student occupants.
