We were recently contacted by a holiday rental company regarding some unfortunate stains left behind by a guest, due to the popularity of the property in Southville, Bristol, they were looking for a professional carpet clean with a quick turnaround.
The very next day, our technician Elijah was at the property ready to carry out a deep clean of the affected carpets.
Once he had a walk around the property to familiarise himself will the areas he was cleaning & the stains he had to deal with, Elijah set to work.
He started by vacuuming the carpet to pick up any surface debris, he then applied a stain treatment to the affected areas & left this to dwell.
An eco santising pre-spray was also applied to the carpets which not only breaks down any stubborn soiling further but also kills any bacteria.
Once a sufficient time had passed for these products to do their job, a rotary agitation machine was used to clean the carpets using a mixture of hot water & cleaning solutions. This machine works by gently scrubbing the carpets whilst injecting the water & products into the carpet fibres to release any further soiling from the bottom of the pile.
The final part of the cleaning process is the traditional rinse extraction where all the water, cleaning products & loose soiling are removed from the carpets.
Whilst the carpets are left damp, you can walk on them straight away with socks and/or slippers on. At this time of year, drying time is around 5 hours.
Thankfully, this tried & tested cleaning method had the desired results on these carpets, the stains were removed & the carpets were left looking much cleaner for the next set of guests.
