We were contacted by a company in central Bath at the end of January who were interested in having the carpets cleaned in the offices above their shop. As with all commercial enquires, we arranged a suitable time for one of our trained technicians to carry out a short survey of the carpets. This enables us not only to provide you with a quote but also discuss what work you would like done, manage your expectations around the results that can be achieved & put together a comprehensive plan for the work if you do decide to go ahead.
Following on from that successful survey, two of our technicians spent a productive morning this week carrying out the clean. The task at hand was to clean the carpets in 3 offices & 3 flights of stairs.
These commercial premises were in a tricky position in a small side street in central Bath so the technicians got the van as close as possible so that they could run all the required kit inside before taking the van elsewhere for parking.
Once they were set up & ready to start, the first step in the cleaning process is to vacuum the carpet, this ensures that all surface debris is removed.
Next, stain treatments are applied as necessary along with a eco-santising pre spray which not only assists with the stains but also helps kill any bacteria. These products are left to dwell in-order to breakdown stubborn soiling as much as possible & really penetrate the carpet fibres.
Once a sufficient time has passed, the rotary agitation machine is then loaded with hot water & cleaning solutions. This weighted machine has brushes on the bottom which gently agitates the carpet whilst working the water & cleaning products deep into the pile of the carpet to provide a thorough clean.
The final part of the cleaning process is the traditional rinse extraction. This large machine extracts all the water, cleaning products & any remaining soiling from the carpets leaving them looking cleaner & fresher.
The customer was so happy with the results that Ben & Elijah received a complimentary box of cookies to thank them for their hard work!
