Whilst carrying out a domestic carpet clean at the end of April, the customer asked our technician to conduct a short survey of his hard floor in the kitchen/dining area plus entrance hallway. Carrying out a survey allows us to check the dimensions & the condition of the floor plus discuss with you, your requirements including your preferred finish.
Following on from the survey, the customer accepted our quote & our technician returned last week to carry out the clean. Due to these areas of the property having a high footfall from both people & the two resident dogs, the tiles had a reasonable soil load as you can see in this accompanying photo.
Our technician, Jake started by vacuuming & sweeping the floor to remove any surface debris.
Next, the rotary agitation machine was used to apply a cleaning solution to the floor to which is then agitated & left to dwell to breakdown the soiling.

The brushes on the bottom of the machine are interchangeable to suit the floor type. These brushes gently scrub the floor breaking down any stubborn soiling. Whilst the rotary machine will help remove some soiling from the grout lines, our technicians get down on their hands & knees to manually scrub these areas to achieve the best results.
All of the slurry that has been generated by the agitation of the floor is then extracted using a wet vac. Depending on the soil load of the floor, this step is sometimes repeated.
The flooring is then rinsed to remove all the remaining water, cleaning solutions & soiling.

As you can see in these next set of photos, the finished floor was looking so much cleaner. Definitely a job well done by Jake!
