At the beginning of last week we were asked to quote for the cleaning of some carpets & upholstery at the beautiful Avon Gorge Hotel in Bristol. On this occasion it was the carpets & upholstery in the ground floor communal areas that they wanted cleaning & they were looking for a quick turnaround which saw two of our technicians return later the same week to carry out the clean.
The main focus of our visit was to clean some of the carpets on the ground floor of the hotel including the reception, lounge, stairs & breakfast areas. These bright & bold carpets cover high traffic areas of the hotel & therefore required a deep clean to get them looking their best & as close to their original brightness as possible thus giving the clientele a great first impression.
Our process for cleaning the carpets & upholstery included a combination of the following:
- Dry extraction/vacuuming
- Spot/stain treatments, as necessary
- Eco-sanitising pre-spray
- Rotary agitation
- Traditional rinse extraction (sometimes called steam cleaning)
Our technicians also had 47 red synthetic chairs to clean from the hotel restaurant. As you can imagine, restaurant chairs can be prone to high levels of soiling but a deep clean with stain treatments not only improves the overall appearance but also leaves them sanitised & gives them a longer life expectancy.
