This week saw two of our technician visit a Bath property to carry out an end of tenancy carpet clean of 3 unfurnished bedrooms. There were no areas of concern noted by the customer but a thorough clean was required now that she had moved her furniture out & the carpets were looking a little grubby.
You can see from this photo that the carpet was looking a little discoloured now that the furniture had been removed & it was visible where there had been footfall in the room as well as a dubious looking stain on the floor.
The first part of the cleaning process is to vacuum the carpets. This is always done even if you have already vacuumed them yourself prior to our arrival. This is because we use a powerful commercial vacuum & also, a 2nd vacuum is never a bad thing!
Any stains that our technicians notice as they clean are treated. We will always do what we can to try & remove stains however, sometimes stubborn stains cannot be removed & in these cases, we hope to offer some improvement.

Once all the stains have been treated, we then use an eco-sanitising pre-spray on the carpets. This & the stain treatment are then given time to dwell to help breakdown any stains/soiling as much as possible.
The next step in the cleaning process is to use the rotary agitation machine. This gently agitates the carpet whilst working in hot water & cleaning solutions. This helps to move any soiling from the bottom of the pile and assists with the breakdown of stains/soiling.

Lastly, it is time for the rinse extraction machine. This large machine removes all the remaining water, cleaning products & soiling from the carpets. In some instances, this part of the process can be repeated if there is a particularly large soil load.
See below for some before & after photos to see what a great job our technicians did on this visit.

The customer was very pleased with the results of the deep clean & commented that “the sticky stain was there when I moved in, you’ve done a great job with it, and it’s much better than it was!”
