Life can be messy and accidents happen, this home in Bristol was no exception. As you can see from the image above, a cup of coffee had caused a real problem for this family. Coffee stain removal can be a very tricky process and despite all our best efforts there are no guarantees coffee stains will come out. The tannins and acidity in coffee can permanently damage the carpet fibres. Luckily for this customer, Jon was able to work some magic and you will see the incredible results he has been able to achieve.
Jon got to work to try to remove this coffee stain. The first step in the process for treating this stain was to apply a carpet safe reducing bleach. This was left to dwell and work into the carpet, before being rinsed out thoroughly. As you can see from the image on the left, this had a great impact.
Once this had all been rinsed out, the whole carpet was then fully deep cleaned again using an eco friendly cleaning solution.
As you can see, Jon has achieved some impressive results here with this coffee stain removal. Despite a very large, and very dense patch of coffee the carpet is now looking much better and the family have saved themselves from having to replace the whole carpet, in turn also saving another decent carpet going into landfill.
