The start of a new week meant an early start for our technician Jon who was tasked with carrying out a commercial carpet clean before the store opened this morning. A deep clean of the walkway areas of a busy Cotswold store was completed all before 9.30am!
As there was no available day when the store is shut for the clean to be carried out, the most efficient way to clean the carpets was to start early so the shop could be opened as normal at 9.30am.
On arrival, Jon has a walk around the store to see what was required & to identify any areas of concern before he set to work.
The first thing Jon did was to vacuum the carpets. This ensures all surface soiling is removed in preparation for the more intensive steps of the cleaning process. Next up, all visible stains are treated & an eco-sanitising pre-spray is applied. Both of these solutions are given time to dwell, not only do they both help to breakdown stubborn staining but the pre spray also kills any bacteria.
Once a sufficient time has passed, a rotary agitation machine is used which is a weighted machine that applies pressure to the carpet fibres whilst working in a mixture of hot water & cleaning solutions.
The last step in our tried & tested approach to carpet cleaning is the traditional rinse extraction. This heavy duty machine extracts all the soiling, hot water & cleaning products from the carpets leaving them looking cleaner, fresher & sanitised. A thorough job carried out by Jon & the shop was all ready to open for the start of a new week.
