Our technicians, Pete and Rob were given the challenge of rejuvenating these wooden floors at a beautiful barn location in Cheltenham.
These floors were in need of a thorough deep clean to bring them back to a standard to match the stunning location.
This barn has hosted numerous events and occasions where drinks, food and general wear and tear has caused some marking and staining that needed addressing.
The initial process for this type of hard floor cleaning is to clear as much loose debris and soil, this is done initially by sweeping. A wood solution is then applied to the rotary agitator which is used with a white pad to clean the floor whilst agitating it to release any embedded soil and dirt.
This creates a slurry of dirty water which is collected using an extraction machine.
Once the slurry has been removed, the floor is then rinsed to ensure all dirt and debris has been removed, extracted again and drying is accelerated by using air movers.
These beautiful wooden floors are now cleaned and restored, matching in with their beautiful surroundings and ready to host more happy events.
